FACT: One in three women and one in four men have been victims of domestic violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. That’s over 10 million women and men in the U.S.
Domestic violence (DV) comes in many forms– physical, emotional, and psychological– with some more visible than others. Here at HACC, we believe in the strength of survivors.
HACC’s domestic violence program provides a safe space for survivors to receive support services to free themselves from abuse, regain confidence, build relationship skills, and find healing.
- Case management
- Court advocacy
The program also serves children of DV survivors in the program. Families participate in education and support groups and receive individualized services according to their needs.
