Join our first ever virtual event to connect lives beyond the traditional benefit experience

Launching May 15th at 6pm – Participate in the week long event May 15th – May 22nd

With the current situation as it is on a global level, we at Howard Area Community Center (HACC) understand without connection, without optimism, and without stories and the beauty of those stories, the world can seem harsher. We are focused on showing that dreams are beyond physical borders and connecting lives is the true foundation for great change.

Although we are unable to have an onsite event as planned due to COVID-19,  we are excited nonetheless to engage your spirits, your hearts and demonstrate the ways in which we are committed to connecting lives through extraordinary experiences that build community success.

Without limits, you can take part in this year’s virtual event.

Join us for a virtual toast, view compelling video content, engage in a silent auction and participate in our virtual mural unveiling.

To share in the exclusive watch party experience with us on May 15th at 6pm, simply RSVP & enjoy a hosted event featuring:
  • Virtual toast
  • Compelling video content
  • Silent auction launch
  • Mural Unveiling (inspired by HACC student stories & interpreted by artist-in-residence, Molly Costello)
  • Virtual awards presentation for honorees: State Representative Kelly Cassidy, the law firm of Schiff Hardin LLP & Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Ignatian Volunteer Corps, & Philippson Louis
  • Surprise entertainment
*Those that RSVP will receive an event program closer to the event date so you can select to hop on and hop off at your convenience*

Get your party clothes on (or not) remember you can view from the comfort of your own home, invite your friends, near and far, and join us for a chance to connect for a fun, enlightening and entertaining experience.

Be inspired by the connections to be made.

Be inspired by the stories.

Be inspired by the honorees…

and show your dedication to the Chicago Rogers Park neighborhood and beyond.

We hope this experience creates a space for memorable moments to take place and encourages community connection in a time when it is much needed.
