Food Pantry

Water, air, sleep, and food– these are the basic physiological needs for survival. The Food Pantry is the cornerstone of HACC’s work and history. The Food Pantry feeds nearly 12,000 low-income families and individuals every year. Many of the Food Pantry’s frequent visitors are homeless and in poor health.


Monday: 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

Thursday: 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

Emergency food (snack packs) is distributed Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and Fridays 9:00  am – 12:00 pm.

Street-friendly prepared food for the homeless: During the hours above as well as Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Community members can visit once a month to pick up fresh bags of groceries if you live in area code 60626 or 60645 in Rogers Park.
