Energy and Emergency Assistance [LIHEAP]

Energy assistance keeps families from having to choose between heating their homes and feeding their children. And in Chicago, energy assistance can actually be the difference between life and death during the winter.

Since energy costs are on the rise and low-income families are hit the hardest, HACC works with LIHEAP to provide energy assistance for light, cooling, and heat.

Families receive one-time assistance or set up payment plans according to their needs.
