Howard and Evanston Community Center Partners With Chicago Resilient Communities Pilot

Mayor Lightfoot shared new details about the Chicago Resilient Communities Pilot – a bold investment from the City that will bring financial relief and stability to 5,000 low-income Chicago households. Since January, Charles Hardwick, Reentry Program Director of HECC joined with experts from across Chicago and the country to provide input and counsel to the City as they navigate many critical design and policy decisions for the pilot. The Advisory Group is comprised of advocates, researchers, City officials, social service providers, and people with personal experience with poverty, and I am proud to play a role in bringing this pilot
